- It’s exactly what you’d expect from the description. I wish there was a better guide in how to use this thing, luckily it was very easy to use with practice. The quality is good for someone who likes retro pictures. I recommended this to all my friends for a fun way to capture memories.
- Wow , this thing is Impressive ! Not only does it Take great pictures ( because it is also a Camera )but it prints fantastic high quality photo pics onadhesive backed picture print paper ( thick ) Additionally , you can print any image you may have in your cell phone because Polaroid has a free phone app. that does an excellent job of managingthe printer - including your ability to print out virtually anything you can bring into your cell phone ( or iPad & Tablet device ) after you select your desired print in the app. , the app will ship the print job off to the printer in a microsecond - Print quality is Photographic, which is Excellent. As far as the cost of the film, I think it’s fair pricing , especially if you buy in multi quantities - that determination is up to you ($) . I’ve had one picturein my house near a window that gets lots of suneveryday - it’s been weeks now and the picture still looks great , so I would say at least initially - the pictures don’t seem to fade with age and sunlightexposure - after a year , who knows ?I’m very happy I bought this printer - I tend to usemy iphone to take and print images but it’s nice to know the printer will take photos as well.
- Tiny unit sent it back for a refund. I bought this unit on a whim only to realize that there are better products out there. I like the fact that it does take 16mp pictures, can save to a memory card and is small enough for a pocket. However using the unit was sometimes confusing. After reading the documentation online (not really much in the package), i still found the unit lacking. The audible beeps and lights on the unit let you know when something is wrong, however the documentation doesn\'t do very good job of explaining the various beeps and lights (imho). The unit itself feels very flimsy and honestly will take playing around with it too really get used to it. All in all i like the idea, but i sent the unit back for something else.
- Battery life is short if you’re hoping to have this guy working throughout a big event. HOWEVER! The photo quality, while a bit fuzzy, is surprisingly decent in low light.I used this for my siblings wedding on a dimly lit dance floor and photos still popped out and guests really enjoyed it.We had to recharge the batteries- is suggest getting it out early during an event and planning on taking it away to charge a couple of times. Practice to see how long charges may take. You’ll need more than 15 min!
