This is a nice camera for beginners. It has a good zoom and the picture quality very good. I don\'t care for all the filters and such since I prefer to use photoshop or some similar software to edit photos with. The camera is a bit small for my hands and I would urge others to get a screen protector for the flip up screen since the only safe way to set the camera down is to lay it on its back. Overall I am happy with the purchase.
Mixed reviews. I wanted a lighter option for travel photos than my DSLR. This version was recommended in a travel review, but I had a few issues. First, if you use the zoom feature you can expect the battery to run down quickly. I took the camera on vacation and it generally lasted only half a day. Be sure to purchase a spare battery if you like taking photos. Second, the touchscreen can cause issues when inadvertently touched. The settings, etc. are not intuitive, even after reading the instruction book online.
Haven’t gotten a chance to really use it yet (I don’t have a memory card yet) but the picture looks awesome! Can’t wait to use it
