Paper Shoot Camera | Eco-Friendly Digital Camera (Deluxe Camera Sets) Croz Simple Light
- Bug fan of point and shoot cameras, and I love the idea of old film look. Planning to get another one actually lol.
- The paper shoot camera is great, but the clear camera case is very easily breakable, unfortunately. I had it in my bag and I took it out to find that the clear plastic case had snapped in two.It looks very cool but I don\'t recommend the clear case.
- This model is very pricey but the gold frame allows it be a little bulkier and feel more real. Comes with 2 cases, gold frame, 2 lenses, wristlet, charger, SD card, wide lens and fish eye lens. Super cool.
- Horrible picture quality. Clearly pretty cheaply made. I love the concept but the execution is terrible. If it was like 50 bucks it would be a different story. It’s the perfect size to travel with and take aesthetically pleasing pictures but they are grainy and the quality is just not there. I do not recommend.
- The camera seems to be a decent camera. I liked the fact that I can build it myself but the reason I am not too fond of it is because I have to literally take it apart all the way just to replace the battery in it. That is a bit of a hassle to have to take it all apart just for the battery.
- CROZ Premium Paper Shoot CameraThis is an ultra-compact stylish pocket camera that at 12mm is pleasantly thin. The kit comes packaged with a total of 3 lenses, 32MB memory card and a wrist strap. The main camera lens and electronics are on 1 circuit board that can be installed in a variety of stylish and nostalgic housings. Both a thin wooden and clear acrylic housing are part of the kit. To round out your photo experience, two Snap-on lenses include, a Macro Lens, which works best at close shooting 25-40 MM (less than 2 inches) distance and a wider-angle lens for a 0.68X view. The weight with batteries is 228 Grams. Most of that weight is the solid brass frame that serves to sandwich around the circuit board. A variety of fastens and screws are included turning this camera into a simple tool less kit. The camera runs on 2 AAA cells. They recommend rechargeable batteries neither are included.Taking PicturesThis camera feels awesome in the hand. The brass frame provides a feeling of something costing far more. The camera has a slide switch on the rear with 4 choices of modes of operation. Color Photo, B&W Photo, Sepia Photo and Blue Photo. If the camera is plugged in by USB cable, Time Lapse and a 10 second video mode replace Sepia & Blue options. To compose a photo, look through the Cut out opening to frame your picture. Once you are ready, squeeze the body of the camera where there is a circular cutout. Two blue lights will flash. Picture is now saved to memory card.My ExperienceThe primary lens is good quality at f/2.0 The camera has an ISO range of 100-3200. Good for a shooting outdoors in sunlight or indoors with ambient light. Keep in mind the 3 lens choices create a challenge in framing your shot as the cut-out viewfinder does not change based on the lens you are using. This resulted in many shots that were not interesting or level due to the focal range or shake. With practice you will choose the right Snap-on lens to go with the look you are trying to achieve. To that end I found that the On /Off shutter button is activated by squeezing the woodened or plastic body hard enough to cause it to bend and press the switch below. This takes some effort and may contribute to tilted or shaky pictures. The camera will do its part and crank up the shutter speed to over 1000/sec to avoid blur. You really need to press this camera to your face, use two hands and hold firmly while squeezing the case to activate the shutter mechanism. I did get a few photos that came out fine. They seem to have an effect to them like the way a vintage camera image might look.
- This kit is definitely not intended for the casual photographer - however, any photography or camera enthusiast will thoroughly enjoy not just using this camera but also in the assembly and cool featuresPresentation is exceptional
