Canon EOS 6D 20.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-Inch LCD (Body Only) - Wi-Fi Enabled - International Version (No Warranty)
- Perfect camera if you’re trying to get into full frame. Picture quality is great. Video quality is okay.
- The most anticipated reason for buying this camera alone was the built in GPS, however, I did not do enough research prior to knowing that you have to go into the menu system to activate and deactivate after shooting otherwise you will have an unanticipated drained battery next time you go to use your camera. The camera came with a heavily used battery unfortunately which was not anticipated from the listing or the seller. Camera was mint otherwise and after pairing it with a 70-200mm 2.8 portrait lens, I have been very pleased, I resolved the GPS issue with the GPS-E2 module which adds compass direction, that works flawlessly with the hot shoe and I can easily switch that on and off and there is a visual indication if its left on. The focusing is relatively good in lower light. If the price is right, it is a great full frame camera, 20 MP is usually enough for most. dont buy it just for the GPS built in, poorly implemented could not be fixed with firmware.. If GPS is key, I would honestly consider the GPS-E2 and what bodies it will work with via hot shoe you might be happier with if it gets you a faster shutter for sports, etc. I think GPS is nice but having the electronic compass adds that for me important detail and Im very happy with the GPS-E2 giving me all emcompassing vs what Canon has in there GPS cameras.
- 5 stars for the international purchase, 4.5 for the camera. Don\'t be afraid to buy the international version, it\'s great! No complaints so far. The camera however, I felt a little underwhelmed with. I came from a t6i, but wanted to step into FF without the huge price tag. For what you pay with the international version, it\'s a great deal! And the camera is great as well. I just hate the auto focus. I knew it was slow, but boy, it\'s SLOW. It has a dual personality. The center focus is crazy good in low light, but the outer focus points are terrible and very clustered in the center. Besides that, it\'s a great way to step into full frame. Just get some good lenses!
- I received product on 10th, it seems to be working fine, but my biggest concern was the packing. Whomever shipped out this item pulled out the lens (24-105) I believe and didn\'t fill the gap. The camera was flopping around inside, and for as expensive as this is, there should be more consideration with securing the product. I\'ve used the 6d a few times and seems to work fine, but I\'ll look more in depth this weekend to make sure. I\'d give this a one for packing, but the product seems ok.
- Saved a few hundred dollars w/ the international version and it\'s honestly the same thing. It actually might be better because allegedly it\'s direct from the manufacturer\'s home country which could mean that the build quality is much more sturdy. The full frame sensor is excellent if you\'re transitioning from a crop sensor, you\'ll definitely appreciate the wider angle on your shots. I like to pair this body with prime lenses to get crisp shots with a creamy bokeh.Highly recommended for your camera setup on a budget. just a few hundred more dollars and you get a really great full frame DSLR. The camera doesn\'t make the photographer, you just have to take great pictures and know how to control your manual settings.
- This camera has amazing low light capabilities. I was shooting wit a canon rebel t5 before and the difference is immaculate. I learned that with this camera it’s best to use EF lenses to utilize its full frame capabilities. Images are nice and sharp. Upgrading to this will be the best thing to happen all year. I promise. It’s not as heavy as I thought it would be and it’s able to fit in a small carrier that came with my t5. The lens I mainly use is 50mm 1.8 and I love it.
- Compared to my 5D Mark IV this camera is okay, not sure how people deal with only 11 focus points. But it’s a backup camera for me though so I honestly haven’t used it that much but I do appreciate its quality build and that it’s not crazy heavy. Great backup camera for sure!
- I’ve been using this camera for a few years now with a 50 MM lens and it seriously works amazing. Definitely a good camera for beginners!!!
