This camera arrived in great shape. It\'s my first Canon (from Nikon). Someone took very good care of it. It takes great pictures, including when it is attached to my telescope for astrophotography. The hardest thing is the lack of a great instruction manual to go with it. The book that came with it is very basic and only covers the bare essentials. I\'ve had to go online to find out what the more advanced buttons and features are. This was money well-spent.
Myself and several friends have this camera. My main complaint is the audio for video is not what I had hoped for. I do not use the auto focus and there is no external mic. Stabilization for photography is really quite good. It’s probably one of the best selling starter camera. I also have a Zoom brand video recorder which helps compensate for the audio.
Looked brand new, i couldnt see any scratches but didn\'t come with lens shown. Arrived in 2 days free without prime.
Love this camera bset choice I did
This is my first camera but I had done lots of research and tons of people said this was the best beginner camera. I can attest this is definitely the best camera for beginners. It has every setting to help a beginner learn how to use every part of a camera. And on top of this it is extremely cheap, as well as the other lenses you can purchase for it.
This is a great starter camera, I\'m loving it.
As of right now I am very happy. This came in a brand new box and looks untouched. Was with US charger cable. I haven’t turned on or verified the vin yet. I will this weekend.
I got this T7 to replace my XTi. I had a great career shooting landscapes, portraits, and wildlife with my old XTi. I could snap a crisp still of a bird in flight on a dark evening. After many miles and seasons outdoors my old camera stoped taking sharp images. Canon doesn\'t repair models that old, so I had to get a new one. I was excited to get this newer T7, because it takes video and my old XTi didn\'t have that feature.I was SO terribly disappointed, when I got this camera. I suspect it\'s because it\'s refurbished, but maybe all T7 are lower quality(?). Whether the lens is on autofocus or manual, or the AF point selection is on manual or auto, or it\'s on full automatic, or manual mode, or anything, I cannot get a sharp image. Not only are the pictures blurry, but sometimes the autofocus will not stop adjusting. One-shot, AI focus AI servo, it won\'t focus. High ISO, sport mode, different apertures, nothing. I\'ve tried all the troubleshooting and checked the manual. This camera is crap. It\'s like it was dropped and not tested before they sent it to me. Unfortunately I got rid of the packaging, so I don\'t think I can return it. I\'m going to look into it though...I took this photo of on autofocus, manual AF point selection, auto ISO, Program AE shooting mode (automatic shutter speed and aperture). As you can see, nothing in the photo is in focus. I have been shooting wildlife for over 10 years, taken several photography courses. I have the photos to prove it! I can take a photo of a dog standing still. Two thumbs down for this purchase.
