Fujifilm X-H2S Mirrorless Camera Body - Black
- First let me say that I had all three major brands in their FF format: Nikon, Sony and Canon. I still own a full Canon RF kit that costed me the whole annual bonus. The only APS-C I had in my life was an old D3200 when I began with this hobby. Now, due to portability and cost I decided to give a try to Fujifilm too, and I started with a X-T5; beautiful camera, extremely elegant, but the autofocus was not up to the job for my needs (i.e. taking pictures of my son playing soccer, and other tasks on the same line). So, I\'ve decided to return it and to go with the X-H2S instead which is reported as the brand\'s flagship within the APS-C format. I received it only earlier today so I\'ve been testing it just for few hours, but my first impression is that it\'s absolutely amazing. The picture quality is - to me - equivalent to FF sensors. The same for the dynamic range. The most incredible feature to me is the autofocus: I can\'t honestly tell the difference vs. my Canon R5 (the comparison was done with 35mm f1.8 Canon vs. 27mm f1.4 Viltrox, so not exactly the same conditions, but still equally impressive). The ergonomic is one of the best I have ever felt in any camera: bulky but light, and with an amazing firm grip. It\'s incredible to me to see how many progresses have been within the APS-C world since my experience with the D3200. I will take it out for testing on a soccer field and for some bird photography soon (I can\'t wait).
- Upgraded from X-T4 and couldn’t be happier. Miss the dials a bit, but the speed and responsiveness of this camera is light years ahead of the X-T4. I spent months trying to decide between staying with the X-T4 or going X-T5, X-H2 or X-H2S and I made the right choice. The minimal actual difference between 26 and 40 megapixels is not worth the loss in better speed and autofocus from the stacked sensor. And, the 4K 120 and 6.2K open gate…WOW. Without spending at least $1000 more for a full frame Sony or Cannon, there really is no better option for this kind of hybrid rig, imho.
- Switched from Sony, first time owner of a Fuji. The ergonomics are way better plus you\'ll get film simulation straight out of camera which I love it.AF is really fast and accurate.Much cheaper options for lenses than Sony.Took these pictures with the xf 100-400 + tc 1.4x, all handheld.
- First time Fujifilm user but it\'s been a blast to use this camera. Great autofocus, maybe slightly behind Canon and Sony, but definitely in the first tier. Video modes are the main reason for me to choose this camera. It has pretty much everything you would need (except for 8K). Upgraded image stabilization makes handheld shooting more reliable. Film simulations are just the icing on the cake. Love it!
- It’s said Fujifilm but there is place to put my film rule inside it. I tried to make a hole by drilling but it didn’t work well.
