  • The camera takes good photos. There are lots of menu options for manual mode and completely automatic. The camera is very lightweight. It has a rubber grip but the body is plastic. It looks very professional. The lens is nice, has rubber on rings to focus, but is also part plastic and lightweight. The camera bag is nice, padded and has movable inserts and extra pockets on the outside. This is a very nice package. The extra filters are really nice. There is a telephoto lens attachment and a wide angle attachment. There are two batteries and a charger. All the extras are nice, except the tripod is cheap, very lightweight, not well made.
  • I have never had a nice camera before. So I figured this would be a nice set for me to try out. I was happy that all the extras came in individual boxes and wrapping just as you would expect. But I know some times you get stuff and they’re just thrown in the box loose.The set is nice and seems to have most everything you’d want to start out with. Not sure what everything does quite yet. But it’ll be fun to experiment.
  • The camera stopped functioning during a Mardi Gras celebration. It appeared to be a low battery symptom. After changing the battery with one that had charged for 24 hours the camera still would not function and it still appeared as if the battery was dead or low. I ordered new batteries and when I installed them after charging for 24 hours, the camera still failed to operate. I removed the SD memory card and plugged it into my computer and erased all pictures and all files on the memory card and then reinserted it into my camera. This seemed to be the cause of my camera’s malfunction. I still don’t know why it failed when I was taking pictures, but since I now know that the SD memory card can cause a malfunction, I take care to bring a spare memory card and battery.Paul Hetzer
  • Love everything, getting the whole package deal was a great deal, I have 1 thing that is broke and I have no idea who to contact, I don\'t want to send the whole kit back, I only want to send the 1 thing that\'s broken to be replaced. Please HELP!
