- Photos are great, auto focus too. Video is great if you are doing vlogging sitting in front of the camera, but if you go somewhere with the camera (walking) or especially running that\'s where the camera is going to be awful. I returned it just because I bought it exactly for walking videos, some active video shooting. I had a stabilization in the lens and even combined with digital one in camera body, it sucks. Very shaky, impossible to watch... And 30fps video is going to be so ugly if you are shaking camera, objects are going to look like they are changing the shape. It fixes if you use 60fps though. So, overall the camera is great if you are not going to use it for shooting videos in action (exactly when you move with the camera).P.S. I was checking the same on Canon R5C, was thinking to get it to fix the issue, but if you watch reviews on YouTube even about R5C video stabilization, it is prettyuch the same. You would need some very good grip and have to be very smooth in your movements, with is sucks considering the price. For instance my Samsung s23 Ultra has way better stabilization. GoPro has way better stabilization. Even my ex Samsung s21 had better one. What is the issues for Canon to get it to the same level, especially considering the size of the device... From 0 to 10 I would say it is 3 out of 10 for Canon. 8 for Samsung s23, 9 for GoPro. Really huge difference. Canon, pleeeeease fix it in future cameras. Would really love to see something like R10 and R5C but with the stabilization livel of Samsung or GoPro.
- The 18-45mm lens is good. But the 18-150mm lens is much better. I returned the R10 w/18-45mm lens and bought the R10 w/18-150mm lens. Check out the reviews on YouTube to determine which kit lens suits you. At this time, there aren\'t a lot of cropped sensor lenses with the RF lens mount. You can purchase reasonably priced adapters for EF mount to open up lens choices. We\'re expecting at least a couple of new lenses this year from Canon for the R10 and R7. The R10 is without question a great camera for just about any situation! The R10 is basically the R7 without the in-body stabilization. That said, the R10 stabilization is very very good.
- There is something to be said about the tactile sensation of a real camera that can\'t be replicated with a smartphone.i recently purchased the EOS R10 to document construction projects at work and also to shoot recreationally. If you are a beginner, the camera has many settings and special effects but can also be used with the A+ automatic setting without diving too much into the operation manual. The user interface, quality of the photos, and quality of the physical camera body and lens are top notch (Made in Japan). My only issue is the Wifi transfer is extremely slow so best to use a cable to transfer photos directly to your computer. Great camera overall and super happy with my purchase!
- This camera is blowing me away. For the \"bottom end\" body in the R series, it punches way over its cost. I won\'t go over all the specs and features, other than to say they\'re awesome. Look them up!I will say, the feel of the UI is great. It\'s fast, clean, and intuitive.Even the very modest zoom lens is actually very satisfying to use - like how at 50mm it supports ~50% magnification with ~5\" min focusing distance. The whole body+lens setup is small and light, but big enough to easily operate the controls. I\'ll shoot from hand for hours with little to no fatigue but in my butt and legs. I love this camera!
- Too small for my hands.Factory defaults could have been better. Picture quality no better than my 70D.It is nice and lightweight.
- A great camera with a lot of features for the price. Focusing is amazing on this camera when used with an RF lens. Image quality is great. At this price point this is a winner. The build feels cheap compared to cameras like R6. That is to be expected given the price. So this is a great entry level APS-C camera and I would recommend it for any amature photographer.
- Low light pictures are not great. Good for beginners
- Takes great photos
