• There’s no question about the quality and abilities of this camera. I assume that if you are looking at this review you are already familiar with it. Trust that when you hold it in your hands you will not be disappointed. I have not used it long enough to this point to comment on all of its features. What I can tell you is that the entire camera is extremely well thought out. The physical controls and LCD are intuitive and easy to access/employ. Think it, and you can find it easily. Whatever you need.The manual is probably my favorite ever. Very user friendly. If you’re a pro you can find the info you need quickly enough. If you’re new to the game or would like a review, I recommend taking your time and reading the manual all the way through. It’s an easy read and doesn’t assume what you know and don’t know. It takes you through every step, providing examples and practical tidbits of advice along the way. I appreciate Blackmagic even more than I already did (I own their Video Assist 5 and love it) based on the effort they put into this manual.I looked at a few of the bundles available with the 4K at the $1,295 mark. I always buy cases immediately for my new equipment, so this seemed like a practical choice. The extreme pro card is also practical and useful. I was going to spend $159 on the custom SKB case, so this Koah saved me quite a bit. It’s not as refined construction and looks wise as the SKB, of which I have several. But I’m terms of protection, I think it’s pretty much equal. The pic is how I set it up using the molded foam insert from the original packaging. I liked that foam and the custom fit so much that I wanted to use it. Of course, I lost room for accessories, but this will be for storage purposes anyway so I’m ok with that. If you go with just the Koah removable foam you can probably keep the camera in a stripped down cage with minimal accessories in there.Lastly, Focus Camera is the seller of this package. They are an authorized reseller for Blackmagic Design. That was important to me when considering who to order from. The camera itself came entirely sealed in plastic within its original box. Everything in perfect condition.
• I have been working as filmmaker for the past 5 years and finally I can get in my hands a BMPCC 4K, just an amazing piece of work, great image, the color correction is oustanding and it looks beutiful.Pros:-The low light performance is amazing but not the best, I still need to apply noise correction to anything that use 1000 ISO but once is corrected the film look is beautiful-Color editing is just so easy-Love the performance and lookCons:-The battery is worthless, it gives you like 20 minutes of life so you cannot work with that-You need lots and lots of extra accessories to finally have a working camera, I spent an extra $1500 in M.2 memory with its convertor, the battery and lenses-The case is way to small, you can only put the camera and 1 lens, more than that doens\'t fit-The memory is really unneeded, so don\'t waist money buying this bundle is better to buy the camera separately and then a case
